Teiyra is a junior BS student majoring in biology with a pre-medicine concentration and a chemistry minor. She joined the lab in the fall of 2025. In the Schilter lab, she performs mass spectrometry and NMR analyses of hemilabile metal chelates. In the future, she plans to become a physician-scientist in pathology. Outside of research, she works as a care giver for elderly people, and serves as a MedCat in the TXST Student Health Center. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games and cooking.
