Edith hails from the great city of Austin, where she completed an Associate degree at Austin Community College (2019−2021). In the Fall of 2021, Edith transferred to Texas State University, where she is now a Senior working towards a B.S. in Chemistry. In the Schilter Lab, Edith is sharpening her organic chemistry skills to develop some new ligands, which she hopes to incorporate into electrocatalytic copper complexes. In her free time, she enjoys reading and sewing.
