Jalen is a Senior studying towards a BS degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology. Although his main foci are analytical and molecular biochemistry, he enjoyed taking (and eventually IAing) organic chemistry so much that he joined the Schilter lab, where he will be studying the thermochemistry of ion-pairing in the solution phase, in particularly how complex cations interact with anions. Aside from his studies, Jalen really enjoys going to concerts, trying new food, and watching movies 🙂
